allvol23
William Blount has a freshman, last name Payne. She hits in the #2 spot and plays third base on Varsity. She is hitting close to .500 and is second on the team in hitting. I have seen her eat up some shots at third that an upper classman couldnt stop. She is a very talented lady for her age. 00FANUC
Chyanne Delff, and Kelsey Peterson for Unicoi, Knocking the cover off it, plus speed. Forgive me if I spelled wrong.Go Lady Blue! I am SO impressed with Unicoi's freshman group this year. There are a ton of them and just about all of them have gotten varsity playing and made an impact. The catcher has a great arm, and even though she may not be Hensley just yet, I think she is well on her way. Delffs is one to watch. I have seen in her in a few of the games I have gotten to catch and she has true speed and a hot bat. I haven't seen much of her defensively. It gives me chills to see Chelsey Gardner in center field wearing her sister jersey, she has held up strong in center and at the plate. Kaci SIlvers did pitch a perfect game, kudos to you kid. She will be a top contender on the mound, given some expirence and time. Shea holds it down in the box like a champ, this girl has power. I haven't gotten to see Kelsey Peterson play but from what I read, she killed it at the Eastman Tournament, and if I remember correctly this girl is fast. All in all, Unicoi is stacked once again with top athletes and will be in the running for another State appearence. With love from Atlanta.
