It doesn't matter how long she played. The fact is she scored 3000 points! That is a feat in itself. She is a most deserving young lady who has worked hard. Congratulations Laken, you did it girl and we are all so proud of you. Some people could play 6 or 7 years and not score that many points but you did it!!!!!

Swanson, Molly has been playing with an ACL tear and a meniscus tear. Her ACL was 60% torn, but last night finished it off. She has surgery scheduled for the 25th of this month. Very tough young lady who left it on the floor. She had an outstanding high school career, and now it is time to get her knee better and get ready to be a Golden Eagle. Congratulations to RBS on the win! The Colter girl is a long range assassin. I hope to see you guys playing at the Murphy Center. Good luck!

We know the work, and effort these young athletes put in. Also the parents who support and

help in so many ways. Miss Heady gave it all she had. Best wishes to her and her family and to

the CR nation. How many people play on a State championship team and go undefeated all

year. God Bless the Heady family.

    • Dyersburg may win back to back to back championships. They are going to be hands down the best 3A team. Plus their District/region/sectionals are not very good. They basically just have to make it to region out of a 5 team district that has a few decent teams. South Gibson will be okay but they graduate their best player and there is nobody in the region 7 or region 8 who is going to compete with them.
    • I remember very well watching things change in the late 80's and yes it's all schools. Most people that are in charge today have any idea because they were raised and taught under this social experiment so they don't have a clue. Anyone that does see the truth for what it is usually try and hide it by blending in so that the School Gestapo doesn't round them up and take them to the Fuhrer ( kindly putting it ). Yes it is all schools not just Maryville. This train ride is not headed in a good direction and if the public had seen a movie of what's happening now back in 1980 everyone would have been headed home afterwards to change underware.
    • Hoping to make the playoffs.
    • You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.
    • He was a bruise but Aaron Dykes is HVA’s best RB ever.
