I think that this is still a good job for a coach. This is a school and community that is hungry and really wants there basketball program to be good and relevent. This school wants to get back to the days of 96 to 2000 and 2007. Some poeple even thought that the sub state round was a bit of a dissappointment. Nevertheless there was high hopes afta they had made that far, but sad to say it went down hill from there. The problem is the Football and Marching Band is still king of the class programs at Pearl Cohn, if u can get this community excited about basketball as much as they do football it will be a major plus. Now this is no easy job. U will have to rebuild but the adminstration is patient, and the poeple around the program will help including the girls basketball program will help. This is a job somebody can take. One of the biggest task for the next coach will be to fill up that 2500 seat gym, which if done can be one of the toughest places to play in all of nashville and 10aa.

Heard Hillsboro's freshmen boys coach will be the choice.

BigPoppa, I hadn't heard that about the Hillsboro Freshman Coach. Who is he? Does he recruit like the rest of them?

It does not matter who the coach is if the administration does not get behind them. No JV team, get real! The tallent level is down over there right now but they need more than players and a coach. They need support.

I heard Former Glenncliff coach Steve Wright and East Lit Head Coach Coach Frey was in the running for the position. I don't know much about the Hillsboro Freshman Boys Coach.

I think Coach Fey from East Lit would be a fine selection for the Pearl Cohn job

I may have some kids that wish I would leave but I'm not. That rocking chair will just have to keep collecting dust.
