Although I have nothing but the utmost respect for that region in Girls basketball I think this is the year we finally get over the hump. See you all tomorrow
Patriotflame
CSAS girls take round one 69-33.
patriot3
It is awfully quiet on here. I guess the Bulldogs thought their only chance to get to the Boro was through the girls, and we saw how that turned out. Does no one think RBS has a chance? Has a team ever come to Chattanooga and won?
icecold06
Hats off to Red Boiling Springs from the updates I was getting. Seems like they cane ready to play, but the baby patriots were not to be denied. CSAS has doubled up, girls and boys in the state tournament
aqua777
Yeah, RBS did come to play. They were pretty much able to play their style. The officiating, while one might say it was horrible, they called it tight both ways. That really hurt CSAS as well as it really slowed down the game. But, they came out strong in the 4th Quarter and pulled away. Congrats to both the boys and girls.
TynerRamFan
...Congrats to both Girls and Boys!!!
Patriotflame
Extremely tight officiating. CSAS's best player sat out the majority of the game with foul trouble. A game called that tightly doesn't benefit a team that plays an uptempo, pressing style. Hats off to RBS for a hard fought game.
global98
A sign of a good team is when they do what they are capable of doing against another team or in tonight's game.......when you can play really bad and still win! RBS played as well as they could and we played as bad as we could.....but we showed a lot of heart and hung in there long enough to win! RBS played as well as they could and we played as bad as we could.....but we showed a lot of heart and hung in there long enough to win! Have your ever watched rbs play? I'm not looking to start an argument but in my opinion that was nowhere near the best that they could play. They did play a very good game seeing as how their star player W. Grace was completely shut out behind the arc. Csas guarded him exactly the same way the girls guarded Colter, face to face all night long. All in all Csas rose up when they needed to and came out with a win. Congrats to rbs for a great season, from what I've heard this is the farthest the boys have made it in school history, and the best of luck to csas in the state tourney!
