Well here go. Too bad they cant just play both the boys and girls sub state game on the same day. Im going with the Patriots in both games.

Surprise surprise surprise icecold picks the Patsies lol. I'll give you the boys game in a landslide but RBS will win the girls game by 21 :motorbike:

lol, Call me a homer but it would take a whole lot for me to pick against my Pats. Although I have nothing but the utmost respect for that region in Girls basketball I think this is the year we finally get over the hump. See you all tomorrow

Yeah, RBS did come to play. They were pretty much able to play their style. The officiating, while one might say it was horrible, they called it tight both ways. That really hurt CSAS as well as it really slowed down the game. But, they came out strong in the 4th Quarter and pulled away. Congrats to both the boys and girls.

A sign of a good team is when they do what they are capable of doing against another team or in tonight's game.......when you can play really bad and still win! RBS played as well as they could and we played as bad as we could.....but we showed a lot of heart and hung in there long enough to win!

Have your ever watched rbs play? I'm not looking to start an argument but in my opinion that was nowhere near the best that they could play. They did play a very good game seeing as how their star player W. Grace was completely shut out behind the arc. Csas guarded him exactly the same way the girls guarded Colter, face to face all night long. All in all Csas rose up when they needed to and came out with a win. Congrats to rbs for a great season, from what I've heard this is the farthest the boys have made it in school history, and the best of luck to csas in the state tourney!

    • I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"
    • TSSAA will let them all go to Mase.
    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
    • I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
