Anderson County vs. Hardin Valley

Anderson County took both games in the series 5 to 0 and 9 to 0. Both games for Anderson County were pitched by 2 southpaws... The first was a sophomore Taylor Durand who threw a complete game shutout with 14 k's. The 2nd game in the series was pitched by junior Tanner Williams who also threw a complete game with 14 k's. Tanner Williams(also an all-state quarterback for A.C.) and Taylor Durand both have tons of potential and are 2 of the better southpaws in the east tennessee area.

Hardin Valley is not very good but are trying to get better considering it being only their 2nd year in existance.

I coached the Oak Ridge Middle School team when Taylor Durnad was playing there, and he is very good when he's in a groove. He's a much bigger kid now, but even back then he could change speeds very well, and had a heckuva curve. Not a bad stick either.
