Move to 43 feet

It does have an impact. Three feet is three feet. It gives the hitters a split second more reaction time. I have noticed even the most dominant pitchers strikeouts are a little down and that they are giving up a few more runs. It was an inevitable move, and it will prepare the kids for the college level. I actually like it, as it creates a little more offense.

I think middle school should stay at 40 ft. because summer ball. Some sixth grade pitchers will have to adjust to 8 inches moving from 10 and U. I think this will be a problem for some middle school pitchers.

Most of the middle school players come from 10 & U and 12 &U summer teams.
