6 classifications for basketball?

I've been a big fan of both girls and boy's high school basketball for MANY years. Over this time I've watched a lot of game in several states. Before they split Indiana into classifications, theirs was the most enjoyable and exciting boy's basketball I've ever watched. IMO, splitting into classifications ruined Ind. boys BB. Girl's BB in this state, under the present set-up, is as good as it gets. Every school can't win a gold ball. If it was split into 10 classes, most of the same teams that can't win under the present set-up, still would never win. The poster who started this thread would not have suggested any changes, just a few years ago, when his team was dominating the district. Why try to ruin things for everyone else now? Let's leave the most exciting girl's BB in the country alone. If you're not satisfied with the results you're getting, try making changes within your own program!

All of these classes messed up the minds of their football fans so they can't even figure out a schedule and wind up traveling all over the state just for a playoff schedule. The only thing worse is the D2 schedule for the whole season. Some enjoy the travel and some just enjoy the play.

I think 3 is plenty.

I agree but I think T$$AA should put a limit on the number you can recruit per year.

they already have that limit ZERO so its up to folks like us to demand a family is not allowed to move and if they do for any reason their kids can never play schoolastic sports in any school except the county they were born in. Now that we know recruiting is not allowed, if we know somebody not playing by the rules TURN THEM IN.
