Explain to me exactly what you thought was unsportsmanlike. Those kids love playing baseball and they show a lot of enthusiasm. If you are talking about how bad they beat UC then your whole sports programs would be considered unsportsmanlike. I believe I heard the announcer wish ya'll good luck in substate and congratulate you on your season. I also saw several players wish you luck. So again, what was the problem?

Well your "star" coach willie obviously has no respect for the game. stealing 2nd AND 3rd when you are already up by 12 runs? thats just poor baseball etiquette. no respect

 

Just like your star coaches call off the dogs? We listen to UC people tell us to get better when ya'll are beating us in other sports, so that is my advice to you.

You Gfield guys beat me to it. It's all fine and dandy when you are the one doing the whipping, but the second the roles are reversed, things change. Our good friend purple&goldstandard usually uses this line when some Greenfield fans complain about UC. "Maybe you just need to get better."

Congrats to "Hey Willie" and the Jackets. Good luck against Adamsville. I've seen em twice when they played Riverside. Should be a close one as they are solid in all 9 spots.

I would like to apoligize to all the Greenfield players and fans for some of these comments from some KIDS who are acting like KIDS, not young adults and UC Athletes. I know who you guys are and I will call your hand on these comments when I see you next!!! Greenfield beat our butts and did it on the field. What you guys need to do is shut up and think about going to work and getting better. Biggest promblem I see is you want to run your mouth and not back it up on the field. So to all you kids, get off the message boards that is designed to discuss things at an adult level. Good luck to Greenfield today and sorry again for these rude comments. Hey your year isn't over go beat Riverside and they can be beat.

Thank you and we are very aware of how good Adamsville is. We will have to come prepared. I will say this, if Adamsville wins this game it will be because they deserved to win. Good luck to both teams tonight.

Your "star" boys basketball coach doesn't lay off when he is beating teams by 10 or 20. But I guess that is ok. It is tournament time and a team should play till the game is over. That is what we did! Greenfield boys play with heart and "want to" attitude.

 

Greenfield is going to have to play good ball and make "all-star" plays against Adamsville. They can do it and I think they will. Play hard guys and Good Luck!

Ok first of all we are talking about baseball, not basketball(which by the way our basketball team has won 5 state championships and you guys are garbage in and have never won anything in). Second, 10 or 20 points in basketball is majorly different from 10 runs in baseball. In basketball down by 20 if you hit a couple 3s you're back in the game. And if you want to throw other sports into this, you know what our football team did this year, and on the road to that state championship, we smashed you on your own field 35-0.

Well when you dance across the plate after someone hits a homerun i call that no respect and i think everyone does!!!!!!!!

bigswo, It doesnt surprise me with your comments, you are a loser. I know who you are from other UC fans. Greenfield dominated Union City in baseball this year. As Purple & Gold tells us on a regular basis, you need to go practice. I wonder where ole Purple & Gold is now adays? He sure isnt posting anymore. He owes the Greenfield fans an apology, step up to the plate and be a man. You dished it out all football and basketball season but where are you now. Greenfield dominated Union City.

For the record, I did not make the comment about basketball. Not sure how my name got tagged in it. That being said, I have seen plenty of teams come back from 8-10 run leads in baseball these days. No lead is safe. And what about football. You guys didn't call off the dogs with a huge lead so why should we. I guess you must have been mad at your coach for being so unsportsmanlike. It is funny when the shoe is on the other foot. I will take the line from purple and gold here too when I say that I guess you guys just need to get better.
