Unlike last year when it was all Father Ryan in D-II (total domination), D-II should be very talented and competitive this year. Father Ryan, Brentwood Academy, Harding, Bishop Byrne, Lausanne, Baylor, and McCallie should all be very, very good....

 

I couldn't agree more. Should be a lot of fun this year. As long as my team wins it all, of course!

I think everyone has underestimated Knox Catholic we split with McCallie and Notre Dame while sweeping Baylor. Even though Brentwood beat us we gave them a good game until the last 2 minutes. We have won our region and are going to state.

Brentwood beat Ryan twice. Nobody is going to dispute that. They did it with Joe Thompson playing at less than 50%. Joe is one of the top players in the state when he's healthy and I believe it is time to find out if he makes a three point difference to the Ryan team. I trust senior leadership when it gets to tournament time. Ryan has been there and done that. I see Ryan and BA ending up with a 2-2 record.

Knox Catholic has definitely been a surprise to most this year. They have beaten some good teams and beaten some D-2 teams that they were not supposed to......

I just wanted to say congrats to our Basketball team for the good work they did! I was told that there was a message from a Collinwood Basketball player that said something about a dark headed cheerleader from FHS, well I'm Letisha and I was wandering what that message was! well G'luck to all the teams out there for the next games ahead.
