Lions4ever
I just hope the Stewart County P.A. Announcer makes the long trek from Dover to Ashland City this week. He is entertaining in a very annoying kinda way.
jackjk6
Stewart County wins if they don't make silly mistakes. Cheatham is big but Stewart Co is more physical and better conditioned. I like the Rebels in a hard fought physical game.
33twist
21-14 Stewart County unless Stewart Co. turns the ball over and put the defense on the field alot and also on the short field. Stewart County has to get out of the first quarter and everthing will be fine if they can do that.

howdoitknow
Cheatham defeated Stewart tonight by a score of 46-21. The win marked the second game in a row in which the Cubs scored more than 40 points. This was also the second consecutive game in which the Cubs starting backfield duo of Montgomery & Potts both went for more than 100 yards. Devin Conner tossed 3 touchdown passes in his third start at quarterback. The Cubs defense forced 6 turnovers tonight including interceptions by Paul Farmer (2), Josh Weaks, and Dakota White (who returned his INT for a touchdown). The win was a very solid performance against a team in Stewart Co. that has made the TSSAA State Playoffs each of the last three years. Cheatham now must turn their attention to next week's in-county clash with Sycamore. It should be another classic battle between these two arch rivals.
