Kinda like Silverdale and Grace/David Brainered were great for Ooltewah/Central and now East Hamilton............the problem with a school on every corner is these parents dont want there kids to be let down when they dont make the team so somebody opens a school sports program so LIL JOHNNY can play!!!

 

Sale Creek has had a High School for a long time and at one point was a perennial power in basketball during the Don Burton era. What would happen is Sale Creek would keep their players like they do in basketball for 5 or more decades. Back in the late 60s, 70s and early 80s, Sale Creek was part of the old Sequatchie Valley Conference in basketball that also included Bridgeport and Stevenson, Al.
