SouthKnoxPrince
I have questioned that myself. When I first started watching them (4 years ago) I thought they had a decent team. They played hard most of the time and scored some points. The coaching change did not help things I am sure. I think they are better on Offense this year
SouthKnoxPrince
Hey Bucguy, maybe this is our answer. NOBODY CARES about football in South Ktown. Sad but possibly true. Actually the support for the entire athletic program is poor!

lowkee
Does anyone know where all the good players go from their feeder schools? That may be where you need to start when questioning success and failure over long periods of time.

SouthKnoxPrince
Here is my take on the SD program. 1. Lack of community support . You can always find a seat at a Cherokee game. Most of the time near midfield. Student support also struggles. 2. Lack of depth. Some good players (8, 6) but not enough 3. Parent mentality- my son should be this or that is all I hear in the stands Just my thoughts

This is a cycle that needs to be broken. It will take parents, coaches, community, and the kids themselves to turn it around. good luck
