Big Red fans...I know there isn't much to talk about this week between the Patriots and Coyotes..but I just can't stand to see a Henry County thread on the back page...so I'll take this opportunity to thank all of you for the support of the QBack Club this year...and congratulate the Patriots on a hard fought win on Friday!

 

Also..maybe a word of caution about how you cheer for the team...I saw it twice at Springfield...don't let your "emotions", "heat of the moment" and "your perception" of what you "think" is true fuel your words during the game! You will be called out by the more "knowledgable" and "wiser" of the crowd (even if you've never heard them say a word) and look foolish in the process! Hint: Don't yell such stupid things like..who should be playing in what formation when you've never been to a practice or "C'mom Coach...you're trying to lose it for us" from near the sidelines like one dad I saw! Again..just a hint for future reference as to not look like a fool in front of so many more poised, wise, and knowledgable football fans!

Doubt there will be much said about this game since it will be a blow out. Boring! Waste of time really. Hopefully no one will get hurt in such a pitiful game. Our JV will be playing before the end of the first half. No offense to West Creek, don't expect much from a new school. And the way people move in and out and around the Clarksville school districts they can never get anything going at any of those schools football wise anyway. Maybe Week 12 will get here before we know it.

Amen to that. I moved here from another football loving area. My first games experience at a Patriots game sickened me so much I can't bring myself to go to another Pats game, even though I want to be a big supporter for the program. I have never seen such rude, obnoxious people in all my life. I know the Patriots have a lot of great fans, but a few nut jobs really dampened my enthusiasm.

Let's not wish this season away so quickly. The meat of our region schedule is yet in front of us (except Springville who, thankfully, is behind us). West Creek played Clarksville High (remember them?) to a 14-7 game. We must'nt take anyone lightly from here on out!!

Amen to that. I moved here from another football loving area. My first games experience at a Patriots game sickened me so much I can't bring myself to go to another Pats game, even though I want to be a big supporter for the program. I have never seen such rude, obnoxious people in all my life. I know the Patriots have a lot of great fans, but a few nut jobs really dampened my enthusiasm.

Move to another spot. Honestly, I can honestly say there are no OBNOs within ear shot of where I sit every game. OBNO's are at every sporting event I ever go to, BB/BB/FB/Soccer pros or High School and don't even get me started on youth sports. Maybe I am thicker skinned now I just don't let them bother me or curb my enthusiasm.

You are really old!!!! Bringing SPRINGVILLE back to the schedule. :rolleyes: Did they even have a FB team back in those days???

"Honestly"...I have to agree with the "Man with Wings"...my point was meant only to a couple of baphoons who believe that HC should "blow out" every team we play from now to the first week of December AND who continually shout at, ridicule, and second guess our experienced and legendary coach! Now matter how foolish they are, how obnoxious they sound, or how unhappy they may be with our program, they nor anyone else will discourage me from attending Henry County games....ever!

      And can you tell me who those two quarterbacks were, and every kid that was put into college from Bearden is a Bearden kid? It’s kind of why they graduated from Bearden.   and I would definitely not consider ETSU “waste”…

      Most of this is complete gibberish. But the one part I could decipher is putting kids in college. This coaching staff hasn’t put a single Bearden kid in college. They completed wasted one of the best WRs in East TN and have ruined two talented QBs. All because they’re in over their heads.

      Well, I’d hope the new coaching staff thinks they are all that because they can always walk around the school, anytime they want, thinking that, especially for what they’ve done for the student athletes and the players, putting more kids in college in his first season than the old coaching staff did in numerous years combined, but we will just sweep over that because I know you don’t like facts. But trust me, nobody wanted Mr. Big britches, made the star player switch to quarterback, which is ultimately the reason he ended up transferring to play the position. He loved, but unfortunately, had to be at another school because Mr. Big Britches doesn’t like when a teenager knows more than him, but can’t expect much coming from a guy who used all class throwing pencils up into the ceiling and making fun of football kids who were failing class right to their face, and in front of numerous students, even projecting on the board most of the time.

      After that first paragraph, I can see why you’re a TA and not a teacher. Have you made the move from South Knoxville to Bearden yet?    Maybe he left because he is an actual teacher and coach, and didn’t want to be associated with a group of foul mouthed middle school coaches who like to pretend they’re big time.

      Yeah and the coach is gone. Whole bizarre situation here. We played them a couple of times at MTSU last few years. She was a player for sure.
