With both teams coming into this game with losses to 6A powerhouse teams the question is how will each respond. Gallatin sits with the same record we had last year at this time of 3-2 and Station Camp is 1-4. District record is 2-0 for Gallatin and 1-1 for Station Camp. Gallatin should be focused this week in practice. Gallatin will have to play sound disciplined football this week to get things back on track. There are 5 games left and Gallatin gets 3 at home and 2 away on this back stretch of the regular season. The Gallatin crowd will need to be out in full force this week to help support these boys. Station Camp will bring in a crowd for their first ever game at Gallatin.

GHS SHOULD win by 3 TD's. SCHS usually plays a solid 1st half but runs out of gas in the 2nd half. SCHS has some solid starters but is lacking in the depth department. The massive line of GHS should wear down SCHS

This Gallatin team has loads of talent and plenty of potential, but for whatever reasons (and I've heard a bunch) it hasn't come together through half the season. There should definitely be no lack of motivation with the opponent this week, and the rest of the season for that matter. As bad as it was last Friday, Gallatin still controls its own destiny inside the district. The rest of the season starts with game 1 this Friday night, and that's where all the focus should be.

maybe but they sure cant tackle. if brentwood had a play that went 4 more than 15 yds it was a TD

      Not sure what you mean? 40 TOTAL? Macon is a good team no doubt, but I believe they've only scored 35 total points against Uppeeman the last two years, and that's over three games.

      This scenario resonates with the dynamics observed in my hometown of Hartsville. The undue influence of politics on high school sports remains a pervasive issue, detracting from the integrity of athletic programs.  The proliferation of individuals driven by a thirst for power inevitably precipitates the downfall of any program. It appears that we are currently grappling with similar challenges akin to those faced by Greenback. Please accept my condolences for your ordeal.

      From what we are hearing on the reservation we will be lucky to beat sunbright. And trust me I am not throwing stones at them because they play their hearts out. It’s a tuff game every year, just like Oakdale but when you have small numbers that’s what you get. And then you add in that you loose two top linemen and the starting qb!!!! Along with a running back!  We are in deep trouble.

Furthermore, it appears that meeting the expectations of this community remains an unattainable feat, as even a hypothetical scenario of clinching five consecutive state championships would likely not suffice to quell discontent. The current situation is fraught with complications, primarily stemming from applicants for the position who have cultivated relationships with board members known to have opposed the former coach.
