sorry, i was referring to the current girls soccer season and how things stand.

The girls look good, record I think is 8-6 all losses but 1 by 1 goal. Coach Woodfin has done a good job and the team is coming together at the right time. They are young with only 2 seniors and very strong Freshmen and Sophmore classes. They play the first game of the post season tournament Monday 10/7 at home (riverside in Clinton.

On into the Regionals as champions of the District with a victory over I believe LC in the championship. What grade is the Vann girl in?? I know many of the Soph and Fr having coached them in MS BBall!! Good luck girls!!

the boys team is coming along quite well. they were 2-0-1 at the sweetwater jamboree. they should surprise some people if they play as a team instead of one or two people trying to do it all.

I know some people may not think to highly of the AC soccer program , but this is only the begining of the season and you have to remember that the results of the season don't mean anything except the 1st place team has a bye. I think we all learned from Stanford and Kentucky that seeding and the regular season doesn't matter, all that matters is how you do in the post-season. So here's hoping that the regular season will prepare us for the post-season to surprise some people.
