Yes they probably would have went 0-10 again. The problem was in the weight room. We played with boys, while our opponents played with men. I am not going to point blame on anyone for that problem, but you can look at this team to year's past and see how much harder they have worked in the weight room. Without the training these boys went through over the past year and a half, Pemberton would be no better than 2-8.

YOU ARE PROBABLY THE SAME PERSON THAT WAS SITTING IN THE STANDS HOLLERING FOR US TO THROW THE BALL FRI NIGHT!!!!! GET A LIFE AND FACE IT WE GOT A GREAT COACH

Hollering...no, but in a 3rd and 24 situation I did wonder why we didn't throw the ball instead of running yet another QB draw! We do have a good coach, who has been great when he had superior talent (private school) but what has he done since he left there??? I believe his record is somewhere around .500 since then. We have a good ball team this year. I believe we could be great if he would open it up a little more. Last year we did throw too much, however this year it is the other way around. We should be looking for a 50-50 split and we would be better than .500 and prolly be around much longer in the playoffs. I don't know why you guys get so upset when someone posts something on here. We have had good coaches in the past and you guys never got on here and defended them this way.

THESE SENIORS BEFORE THIS YEAR HAD WON 3 GAMES AND LOST 27!!!!! WHAT EVER WE WAS DOING THE PREVIOUS THREE YEARS. I DONT THINK ANYONE COULD ARGUE ABOUT DOING THE COMPLETE OPPISITE.. ONLY IN MACON COULD SOMEBODY COMPLAIN ABOUT A COACH THAT HAS WON A TITLE!!!!! IF YOU CANT POST ANYTHING POSITIVE FOR OUR BOYS PLEASE GET BACK TO WORK!

welcome to the T. it's always nice when someone takes the time to finally log on with all the right answers to previous problems.

the coaching is the best it has been in years for macon. i was/am a big goolsby supporter and while i believe his departure was ill founded, i also believe macon gained a great coach in pemberton. i also think, that like all great coaches, that pemberton knows that establishing the run is how you build a successful program. but, there will always be the fan that longs for the homerun ball. look at the sc game(more than likely the best 4 qtrs macon has had this year and against a very good football team), grinding running game against a great D and the sc offense had trouble getting on the board because a; their running game couldn't get going and b; they kept trying the hail mary. macon's success will continue next year, but it won't be because of the passing attack, it will be because the o-line gets better. pemberton knows the wing-t is a grinding clock control offense and when executed well is hard to beat. watch the playoffs and see how passing offenses go deep. :thumb:

also, it's always easier to pass than run when you're facing an 11 man front. i mean jeez, there's no safeties over the top!!! :roflolk:

yes they will choke.just like every other big game they have been in this year.i have said it all year my eagles win with ease. score motown-35 m.c.-20.this will mark 4 years staight in beating those whinning tiggers.

Really? Cause they didn't choke against SC or LA. You sure you been watchin the right MC team? You think because Mo'town is on a 2 game streak, one was a fluke and the other happened to a team that hadn't won all year, that they will beat MC? I don't see it happenin this year. I say MC's JV team will be playin the 4th quarter if not before

those games were not a district game. m.c. clearly showed they can't win the big one like greenbriar or white-house,those are the games that were big and meant something.this game is big and they wont finish the deal here as well.m.c defence could not pull the plug out of the wall to STOP A CLOCK!

The Goat sez: BR1Z1Z...(if that's the name you're using today) :roflolk: If they had won these two games it would'nt be an endorsement. While their record might be better if they had won, their reputation wouldn't be.

I always pull for the Tigers, but all of Trousdale Co is pulling for Macon this week! You win...we get the overall number one seed in the playoffs. Don't let us down! :thumb:

They will Seven.....I just hope nobody gets hurt before the playoffs cause Macon could surprise some people WHEN they get in. Good luck to jackets too....till next year anyway..... :roflol:

    • And can you tell me who those two quarterbacks were, and every kid that was put into college from Bearden is a Bearden kid? It’s kind of why they graduated from Bearden.   and I would definitely not consider ETSU “waste”…
    • Most of this is complete gibberish. But the one part I could decipher is putting kids in college. This coaching staff hasn’t put a single Bearden kid in college. They completed wasted one of the best WRs in East TN and have ruined two talented QBs. All because they’re in over their heads.
    • Well, I’d hope the new coaching staff thinks they are all that because they can always walk around the school, anytime they want, thinking that, especially for what they’ve done for the student athletes and the players, putting more kids in college in his first season than the old coaching staff did in numerous years combined, but we will just sweep over that because I know you don’t like facts. But trust me, nobody wanted Mr. Big britches, made the star player switch to quarterback, which is ultimately the reason he ended up transferring to play the position. He loved, but unfortunately, had to be at another school because Mr. Big Britches doesn’t like when a teenager knows more than him, but can’t expect much coming from a guy who used all class throwing pencils up into the ceiling and making fun of football kids who were failing class right to their face, and in front of numerous students, even projecting on the board most of the time.
    • After that first paragraph, I can see why you’re a TA and not a teacher. Have you made the move from South Knoxville to Bearden yet?    Maybe he left because he is an actual teacher and coach, and didn’t want to be associated with a group of foul mouthed middle school coaches who like to pretend they’re big time.
    • Yeah and the coach is gone. Whole bizarre situation here. We played them a couple of times at MTSU last few years. She was a player for sure.
