Webb beat DCA last night

Really!? There was a typo then on Coach T last night! I checked the mobile site scoreboard and it showed Webb defeated.

That's encouraging though. At least I can have confidence for a few more minutes that the TSSAA will get it right the first time.

I thought the guideline was that ALL brackets were to be released at the same time. Am I wrong?

It looks as if they have given Manassas a playoff berth over CCS. From their own websire I thought CCS would be ahead of Manassas based on teams with a .5 record or better.

It looks like Manassas had another game not listed on the t. It is on the schedules on the tssaa site. I think it went to the 4th tie-breaker.

Still does not make sense to me, CCS played Beldsoe who have a better than 0.5 record so their 2nd tie breaker should be better than Manassas according to the TSSAA standings last week

Kingsbury won their 5th game by beating Manassas last night giving them 6 opponents at .500 or better.

    • I have no idea who your team is, but Memphis and other Shelby Co. schools have hardly made a dent, if you’re talking Game 15 appearances. Outside of a couple by Whitehaven, I can’t recall the last team in a final.
    • Robbed you guy at a chance of 3 state championships. You never kne, sond best team in the west my have beat you also, but you sure deserved the chance to play um.
    • Eagleville also loses Brown the catcher, Lamb CF, Mclemore RF (Heck of an athlete) and Drew the 1st baseman. They will be young.
    • Good thing we aren’t in Florida then huh? It would benefit a ton of the smaller schools  that don’t have the pools of kids to choose from! They should start by policing Shelby County like they do the rest of the state! Something has to change though and TSSAA knows that!
    • Correct, you can whimsically be fired in coaching. A coach that has tenure can stay on as a teacher if released from coaching. If you don’t have tenure as a teacher, you can fired without cause. Your last year as a teacher before tenure is earned you can be fired, but must be given cause. A tenured teacher can be fired, but it is a long hard process requiring the 3 D’s…. documentation, documentation and documentation. I have released 3 tenured teachers, 2 with PHD’s. However, teacher contracts had and still have clauses that state you can be fired for a variety reasons re: being arrested, public drunkenness, inappropriate relationships ect.
