I believe 5 out of the 6 team that made playoff's from it won in the first round, and most if not all were blowouts. Toughest region in the state hands down.

Be careful about hanging your hat on rankings...those things change weekly. Win the games and then talk...ask Oakland, they were #1 earlier this year. No doubt there are several great programs in the Rutherford County area as well as Maryville's region.

Oh boy, we've not had a good Maryville vs. Rutherford Co. thread in a while. This should provide a solid 3 weeks worth on entertainment.

And Smyrna #1 before them so we know....But rutherford has been ranked number 8 all season...No weekly change there

Districts don't win games. Neither do quads. Teams do. All of the chest puffing about districts and whining about too difficult quad seedings has been lost on me. Not gonna complain that my team (#1 in 6A) has been placed as a 2 seed in a quad with the #2 team in the state. Just look forward to a chance to beat them

Ok, I'm new to Maryville...what does that mean?

 

What it means is even though there are 2 different threads about his team's upcoming game , he chose to post in a thread about Maryville , hoping to take a shot at them ..... I know , pathetic isn't it . For years around this area , all Maryville heard from teams like Oak Ridge , Farragut and Bearden was that we were afraid to play with the big boys .... well last year Maryville did move up , and yes we've lost to Alcoa twice and White Station .... but Maryville has still not lost to a so called "Big Boy " . I guess when you're a Maryville hater you have to be very creative to find things to bash them with , when the best you can do is a "21 point loss on your home field Moral Victory " ( Hey did you see that big hit on that Kick off team Oak Ridge had !)
