Memphis teams really laid an egg this year.

 

MUS and CBHS were just down this year I think. That's all there is to it. Plus, Briarcrest caught a tough break with their QB getting hurt late in the season. I watched the MUS vs. CBHS matchup on "Y'all vs. Us." Though they were both obviously well-coached and playing hard and disciplined ball, you could just tell that both teams were young in spots and lacking their usual athletes in other spots. So, I don't think it's really a surpise to see them both get eliminated early. Giving up 42 first half points will probably be on the minds of all the MUS coaches and underclassmen this whole offseason though. . .
