Biggest blowout 49-0 2 vs. 7: 3-1: Average margin of victory by higher seeds: 16. Biggest blowout 40-7 3 vs. 6: 3-1: Average margin of victory by higher seeds: 5. Biggest blowout 32-13 4 vs. 5: 2-2: Average margin of victory by higher seeds: -4.5 (lower seeds scored more). Biggest blowout 41-6 (lower seed) TOTALS: Higher seeds were 12-4. Average margin of victory by higher seeds: 9.5 3A Playoff Seeding/Results- Second Round Higher seeds were 6-2. Average margin of victory by higher seeds: 8. Biggest blowout by higher seed: 37: Goodpasture over Sequatchie (54-17) Biggest blowout by lower seed: 40: Pearl Cohn over Smith Co. (40-0) Total through two rounds: Higher seeds are 18-6. Yerp - if we went back to the 4 seeds per district those numbers wouldn't look that good I bet. I'm talking back when there were 5 classes.
