Clarkrange beat RBS 52-41. The score is nowhere near to how close the game actually was. It stayed roughly a 2 to 4 point ball game the whole way through until the end when RBS started fouling. I h

All T$$AA cares about is their share of the money from the game. Integrity is not on their list of priorities.

Friendship has a good team but JC can play with them, but JC has to start playing like they were before christmas. Double digit wins have become close games or defeats in late season. I believe it can be a 7a sweep because JC defeated both 8a teams they played in a landslide but that was then and now is now. Good luck to all region teams in sectionals whoever they are.

Pickett already beat Gordonsville by 20 when PC wasn't even playing very well...and they are better than Watertown Pickett by 17 over Watertown

Clarkrange over RBS by 6

Friendship over Jackson co. by 12

Clay Co. over Gordonsville by 18

 

Pickett over Clay Co. by 5

Clarkrange over Friendship by 3

 

Pickett over Clarkrange by 4

Pickett will be in a dog fight against Watertown...that is a garauntee! It will be a single digit game!

watertown over PC by 5, Clarkrange over RBS by 8, clay co over gordonsville by 15 and JC over Friendship by 7 if they healthy if not Friendship wins, If PC should beat watertown Clay co. won't miss 6 free throws in the last two minutes and have 30 turnovers again.If they play again Clay by 12

Clarkrange can't host a post season game. TSSA seating capicity rules. That is why the girls are playing at Trousdale.

What is the boys team doing?

boys get to host. they violated no rules. the girls were the ones who violated the rules. fyi, the rule was the seating requirements to hold substate(sectional) game. neither boys nor girls can host a substate(sectional) game because there gym does not meet seating requirements.

      RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.

      I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
