TN Pride Iron Man (Last Day To Register)

Last day to register for the TN Pride Iron Man held at David Lipscomb HS in Nashville TN. This is a joint sanctioned tournament by USA Wrestling and the South East AAU. We have kids registered from KY, AL, GA (Including the compound), IN, and of course TN.

 

3 full tournaments in one day, no less than 6 matches and a possibility of 12, GREAT MAT TIME

WEIGH-INS

Weigh In - Saturday 7:00 AM – 8:00 AM

Satellite Weigh-Ins for out of state schools or TN clubs that are greater than 4 hours travel time. Satellite weigh ins must have prior approval from Stephen Petricca and weigh ins will be done between 5-7 PM on Friday April 29th.

AWARDS

Medals to 1st, 2nd, 3rd - No awards presented until completion of the weight class.

Iron Man Cup Awarded to those that win 1st in all three weight classes. (Must have 2 people in weight class to be considered)

 

SPECTATOR FEE

$6.00 Adult—$3.00 Child (under 12)

 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

All participants who don’t have either a USAW card or an AAU card will be given a free tournament card for the day, so no card purchase required to be covered for insurance. Reversible red / blue singlet are preferred.. The use of headgear is strongly encouraged.

 

Concessions will be available. No Coolers in Gym! - Coolers will be placed in a separate area. Detailed information will be provided to parents/coaches when contact is made regarding registration and weigh-ins

Sadly I can't tell from checking trackwrestling as they haven't released the wrestler list or the matrix. Either would have given a wrestler count so you will have to wait on the tournament staff to announce.

170 as of this morning and we expect a good surge today, we think we will finish at around 250, lots of tough kids in each weight class so although they may only have 5 or so in each weight class it should pose to have some great wrestling. The brackets will go on an 8 man bracket for weight classes with 5 or more, those with 4 or less will do round robin. The way we figure is even if they go 2 and out on each style they will get 6 and the winning out would be around 9, consolation variations should get about 8-12 matches.
