Reaction, I am somewhat a Sweetwater fan. My son played with Ross Houston, one of Sweetwaters players, for a number of years in club. He is a fine young man and has a great family, so my family is very pleased with their success.

Reaction, I am somewhat a Sweetwater fan. My son played with Ross Houston, one of Sweetwaters players, for a number of years in club. He is a fine young man and has a great family, so my family is very pleased with their success.

Sweetwater has came a long way. I remember my freshman year they were terrible. Every year they got better. We had to play them 3 times my senior year. They beat us when it counted, the region finals. That was back when only 1 team from region went to sub state.

Match dominated from start to finish by East Hamilton. Had several near misses. Could have easily been a 4 or 5 goal victory.

Notre Dame 4 DeKalb 0..2-0 at half. DC had several chances but couldnt find the back of the net.. Notre Dame is a well coached team with great talent. Good luck in the rest of post season.

I sure didn't think Gibbs had it in them. Don Lee is a great coach and he has a good squad under him. Wish he and his team the best.

Berean held their own quite well this evening agaisnt CAK. They really played to the level that CAK came out with. They scored off a defensive slack, a great finish. They frustrated Holt, Ragland, and Thompson and forced them to shoot from way out. Timmy Carter did very well being his first appearance in the net. Being a former keeper at Berean I was very proud of his leadership stepping up and keeping the CAK boys to only 1 goal.

Looks like another CCS-Notre Dame match up again this season tomorrow night (Regular Season-Tie, District-CCS win)....Hope Notre Dame can step up their play to stay in it this year...CCS is strong and appears back to better health than earlier in the season...

I am not going to write a long game summery. I am just way to mentally spent. Two games in a row that go two overtimes, two golden goals and then PK's are enough for me for a long time.

 

Last night Gibbs did what they had to do to survive and advance (a Pat Summitt quote). That is all you can ask any team to do at this time of year. Hats off to Gibbs, I wish them well. Also hats off for a great season to a fine group of Tornadoes and Coach Corley!
