Lebanon's 5-6 fullback Juicy Apple ran accounted for nearly 200 yards in total offense and scored two TDs. QB Patrick Maynard was sick all week, but ran for 100 on 11 carries and completed 10-of-12 passes for 146 and a score. The LHS defense still needs work. Mis-direction just killed 'em. Crack-back block by a Lebanon WR took Nunley out for all of the fourth quarter.

Watching this game reminded me a lot of FC vs Shelbyville and their two small and quick backs. Franklin Co defense is still the same that it's been for the last ten years...at least. Reaching for the ball carrier, tackling the shoulder pads and not wrapping up...too much watching the backs dance. Only on a few occaions did we actually run through the ball carrier. We have got to do a better job of containing, tackling and getting pressure up the middle. Offense and kicking game was the only bright spot. We did a good job of moving the ball but turned the ball over on the opening drive at the opp 20 yard line, and ended up having to kick two FGs later on. Could have put more points on the board but don't think we would have stopped Lebanon's backs from scoring more. Will get a dose of it again next week if we don't learn to tackle...

Shelyville can light up the scoreboard. Shelbyville game is a big one for the Re=bels. Need to start conference play with a w. D will have to learn how to tackle. Offense needs to finish drives. Rebels need to get a lead, as their offense is not design to play from behind
