On the Arm of Coleman don't really understand that?

As far Milan and Humboldt these are the 2 best teams in Gibson County and rivals as to the out come if Milan plays like they have so far and don't take care of the ball on offense look for Humboldt to win on good field position..But this game will be a game of defense both teams are very good and could be won by a field goal.Humboldt wants to beat Milan very badly and they have home field advantage going for the upset.

Milan--21

Humboldt--24

Coleman? He played QB for Milan 3 years ago. Powell is the QB now, good lord.

I saw the Crockett County vs Humboldt game. Neither team was very impressive.

Crockett was about as slow as I've ever seen on a high school football field.

Humboldt has a few players but Milan has way too much for them. Milan will beat

the brakes off the Vikings. Trust me.

Milan wins this game easy. very easy.

RBR - your Cavs will be fine. I was shocked last week when Humboldt beat you guys. Coach Ward is the anwser but it will take time. You could tell last year you guys were down. Keep the faith my friend.

Milan beats Humboldt this Friday night but it will be close early in my opinion. Milan has many weapons this year and some that we didn't know about............ it's a good problem to have, trust me.

Bulldog Fan2...somehow I believe you are correct...although, I haven't noticed the "explosivenes" of these weapons you are refering to..yet anyway...Peabody is not a very good barometer although, it's the only complete game we have to judge. A physical, well coached team (such as Coach Bland's Vikings) might experience some success in moving the ball deep into Bulldog real estate...and create a disruption on the opposite side defensively!...but, the traditional "wear and tear" of the Bulldogs probably gets them through this week with a victory. Be prepared for a few ugly wins for the Bulldogs this season...but keep in mind..they count as wins too!!

If Humboldt can pull off the win this week...don't look for a blemish on Milan's 2011 schedule..unless Covington is as improved as the locals say!

Opps sorry late nite post. Powell is going to be the difference imo he'll throw 3 tds. and I disagree it'll be a close game. By the way thanks for correcting the QB mistake. Your a Pal

Bulldog I agree with your Milan wins comments..also Crockett is nowhere as big and fast as in previous years..but neither is Humboldt..as QbPrez stated Covington may be your biggest test in 13AA..

If Powell throws for 3 TD's you can bet we'll run for 3-4 more. Milan is more balanced this year.

We have more speed around the QB, he's just gotta get them the ball. It may take a few games, but

the Bulldogs will get to the point where we leave a lasting impression of complete domination!!!

Juice you thinking 10-0 and a run at the title? I hope so im a big Bulldog fan. Played for tucker many yrs ago.

    • Dyersburg is going to be good, really good. As mentioned, they have a lot of talent on the way and the trio of Chelby, Joya, and KayKay will only be better with a full season together under their belt. To me, playing in Murfreesboro two consecutive postseasons will only serve to make them more dangerous if/when they stand among the final eight teams this March. Experience, good or bad, always makes you better. And not only do they have experience, they know how to win there. Schedules are coming together for all of the teams and I am excited about what I am seeing on the preliminary drafts on Dyersburg’s schedule. I know I am being a tease, but it’s simply not my place to announce what another school is doing. With that said, I won’t go into specifics. However, I am excited about renewed home and away contracts for the non-district portion of the calendar. I think west Tennessee will have a lot of interest as well.
    • What does everyone have in the final 8? In no particular order. 1. Eagleville 2. Gordonsville 3. Greenback 4. Oakdale 5. South Pitt/ East Robertson-- not sure 6. Richland 7. Halls 8. Union City
    • They struggled to field a team last year. I don’t see them being much better?
    • sx good two know thay didun't waint that entarr citty two see yeller/red......
    • Couldn’t agree more.. Tate is a special kinda player , but fortunately for us we get a best of 3 series. I think our pitching is better than last year when we made the trip to west tn. Should be a fun 2 or 3 games.
