That is a shame. A very talented kid. I too hope he is able to get back on the field and more importantly deal with whatever is keeping him off the field. But this is far from the first talented kid I have seen allow things to get in the way.

He's been dismissed from Webb and the person/coach that initially brought him to Webb is now on staff at CPA. Change of residence would make him legal. Wonder if they have any pre-pharmacy studies at CPA?

What a tough break! Hate to hear that! Not sure what happened but you still hate that for any kid exp with his talent. Hopefully he can get back on track. Also since he played a game at webb no matter where he decides to go even with a change of residence does he have to sit out a full cal year before he can play for another school?

As long as he has a legal change of residence 20 miles away from Webb, he will be eligible right away at his next school? The calendar year rule applies when you transfer without a legal change of residence.

 

If he ends up at CPA, makes me question the motives of the coaching staff and administration there. Basketball has been bad enough, now football.

 

For the young man's sake, let's hope he learns from his mistakes. It is sad we see problems like this from the NFL to college and even to high school.

must live with legal guardian as well. Are his parents moving and leaving the other brother behind? That would make the one still at Webb ineligible.
