No one on Macon's regular season schedule will hold them to only two td's. They may get out-scored by someone (ref. Goodpasture) but it will take more than just 15 pts.

i agree. but where is the defence?you could put blow up socker-boppers and beat what they are doing now.at least somedody from the other team could trip over one those bopper'stoppers.

Should be a good game, if Macon's defense can get a couple of early stops I look for them to control the game and come away with a win. The defense hasn't looked so good the past couple of games but they've played a couple of the better offensive teams they will play this year so I'm thinking things will look a little better this week, hopefully.

I'll got with Macon 31 Sycamore 21

if you can hold macon to 14 points sycamore will win.but what makes you think the war-eagles will. do you think they have a better d-fence than trousdale county or goodpasture?if this is so the war-birds will win alot of games.

Sycamore's defense > Goodpasture's defense

Sycamore is not as explosive offensively as Goodpasture is however that is because they don't have Keenan Reynolds. That player aside I'd say that they are on par.

The best defense Macon County will see all year will be Smith County's defense. Sycamore may have a good defense, but it will take an outstanding one to be able to stop Macon's high powered offense. Sycamore may keep Macon County in check for a majority of the game, but I think in the end they'll have around the 28-30 in points against Sycamore. I've said this all year and that is if Macon had just a decent defense to go with their offense they would be a top 10 if not a top 5 team in 4a. I'll go with Macon in this one 35-20...

What makes Sycamore's defense so much better than Goodpasture's? Does Sycamore even have good defensive coaches?

Sycamore hasn't given up 35, 47, 44, & 43 points in their games this season. Goodpasture definitely has done so defensively.

this is true.but look who sycamore has played-that they ant allowed those points. no where near the teams of goodpasture or tc and for that matter j.b. your comparison won't hold water untill i see it myself friday night.

    • The amount of people pooing on UH is crazy. They're a noticably better team than last year when they made state and were competitive , AND they run ruled Eagleville a few weeks ago. Now I understand Eagleville was missing a few guys, but they still. They. Run. Ruled. Eagleville. 1st single A team to run rule Eagleville since when? Pre 2017??
    • If that Yellow Paint is all gone I'll flat bet it didn't wash off there. I bet that took some scrubbing to remove that if it is gone. Lacrosse is one of those northern sports all these misplaced Yankee's that are posion to the community brought in by  (Blount Partnership, ( The Devil) with them so somebody allowed them to paint their markings on the field that cost more than the twenty top people on payroll at Maryville make a year. All this to please the 1% Club and the 25 people that would come to see it. All in the name of WOKE!!!!!!
    • They will probably, struggle
    • Dyersburg is going to be good, really good. As mentioned, they have a lot of talent on the way and the trio of Chelby, Joya, and KayKay will only be better with a full season together under their belt. To me, playing in Murfreesboro two consecutive postseasons will only serve to make them more dangerous if/when they stand among the final eight teams this March. Experience, good or bad, always makes you better. And not only do they have experience, they know how to win there. Schedules are coming together for all of the teams and I am excited about what I am seeing on the preliminary drafts on Dyersburg’s schedule. I know I am being a tease, but it’s simply not my place to announce what another school is doing. With that said, I won’t go into specifics. However, I am excited about renewed home and away contracts for the non-district portion of the calendar. I think west Tennessee will have a lot of interest as well.
    • What does everyone have in the final 8? In no particular order. 1. Eagleville 2. Gordonsville 3. Greenback 4. Oakdale 5. South Pitt/ East Robertson-- not sure 6. Richland 7. Halls 8. Union City
