Quad 4 looking pretty tough with 4 of the top 8 seeds. Quad 1 tough as well.

Quad 4 is clearly the weakest quadrant with the 2nd seed Arlington getting beaten already this year by a 6-3 Oakland team who is a middle seed in their Quad. With the exception of Whitehaven, the teams currently in Quad. 4 would lose their first round games to any teams in Quads 2 or 3! Those are the brutal quads. You can't look at records (these teams beat up on each other through the season), you gotta look at the teams that are there. Brentwood as an 8 seed! Wow, there are few teams in Quad. 4 that can play with them. Sorry man, but your over your head if you think Quad 4 is tough. Its the weakest again this season.

Ok I admit history, I also know what happened to Arlington in WEEK 1. I was only making this assumption based on TSSAA system. It is great however that we play the games on the field.

Bradley Central is in a tough quad as of right now. But since theyve played playoff standar teams (Blackman, Baylor, Mcminn) i think they can make ALOT of noise in the playoffs. Seems like this is when Mr. Stovall is at his best (21 catches last year vs oak ridge in round 2)

Was there last year in the OR bleachers, I agree, the Wildcats left there knowing they had been in a hard fought game. I don't think anyone really wants to go there to play.

    • Sounds like a great opportunity has opened up for the football team.  With the head coach of the diamond rebels making it official and quitting this week, there should be some room for the gridiron guys to benefit. I assume the administration won’t continue paying six figures to two former coach that quit to continue teaching drivers Ed. Thats pretty good money that could be redirected toward the football program. Also, with the more recent policies of pushing kids to only play one sport, abolishing the baseball program altogether would help on Friday nights in the fall. There is some decent speed on that baseball team that should’ve been playing on Fridays IMO. I’m not sure if anybody would really miss that baseball program anyway with it being across town from the school. The liability of letting players actually use the facilities could also be mitigated with closing the program. That liability seems to be a really big issue for 825. Anyway, it seems like a great opportunity is available.
    • Yeah, I read about their spring blue/gray scrimmage after I typed that.   Sounds like a real mess over there.  I just hate that for 'em.  Haw
    • Maybe OR will be, but Farragut, nah, I don’t think anybody realizes how much of a bad situation that program is in currently. I’m sure they will build out of it, but the next 3 to 4 years are going to be a long climb up.
    • Thats one of the problems of having an 8-team region. A team could make it in any other region, but the numbers work against them in this one.
