likearock
Just had a big ole mess of fried crow legs and some crow stew and about to sink my teeth into some bacon wrapped crow breasts. Giles co is good enough to compete with any team in our division when we play a clean game. When we turn over the ball 73 times in the second quarter and get pinned on the one and give up a safety we can get beat by most every one in our division. Lewis co was there every time to take advantage of our miscues. Kudos to a Panther team that could have punched out early down 14-0. The balance in our district is unreal. Good luck in the playoffs. WiseOldManGiles
Hats off to Lewis County. This game should be used as a training film for how to play a flawless game. Lewis fumbles twice, on the same play, and still gained 6 yards. I can't remember a high school game where a team scored 31 unanswered points in 1 quarter. Giles gives up a safety, then a long return inside the 10, a pick for a TD, a pick for a 50+ yard return inside the 20, and then a fumble in which Lewis returned for a TD. All in one quarter. Credit goes to Lewis for making the plays. This ones history. Its back to work on Sunday. Congratulations Lewis County.

Gerry Bertier
Big win for Lewis Co. The win propelled them into a 3 way tie for 2nd place with Page's upset of Marshall. After tiebreakers, Lewis Co. would be considered a district runner up if the playoffs started today, almost propelling them to a home game. The Panthers may get a home game if Hickman Co. can win next week and get into the playoffs. This would bump Harpeth to quad 3 and Manassas would come visit Howenwald. A lot to be decided. Congrats Panthers. Giles Co. really hurt their chances at a home game and blew a chance to be district champions again.
ddaddy
Great game Panthers!! From about 1/2 way through 1st qrt on it was all Lewis Co. 51-14. Clearly the best team tonight was the Panthers. Good luck Giles in the playoffs.
