Covington will be the 2 Seed in Quad 4 due to having the highest runner up overall record.

Mitchell will be the #1 seed because they are the only District champion in the Quad. Covington will be 2, Fairly 3 then Kingsbury 4. These 4 will be seeded first because they are District Champions and District Runner ups.

Idc what happened with Trezevant last year!! Kingsbury should not be in the playoffs with only 2 wins! They changed the playoff system to keep that from happening! They especially don't deserve a playoff game at home!!

Your displeasure will not change the way it is. Every year you will have some teams that dont deserve to be in.

Nope

Let me explain ONE MORE TIME.

1 District winners are seeded first--Mitchell is the only one.

2 District runners up are seed second--Covington, Fairly, Kingsbury

Covington has the best overall record, Fairly next and then Kingsbury last

1. Mitchell

2. Covington

3. Fairly

4. Kingsbury

5. Wildcard

6. Wildcard

7. Wildcard

8. Wildcard

5-8 Will include Obion County, Dyersburg, Bolivar, and probably Hillcrest.

It is that simple.

A terrible system but it is what it is

Organized chaos is how I describe the 4A playoffs right now. This week all 5 win teams are in, however there were 9 4 win teams and only 2 open spots. Those two spots went to Macon Co. (8 teams on schedule winning 50% of games) and Stone Memorial (7 games on schedule winning 50% of games).

These 7 teams are at 4-5 and are on the outside looking in heading into Week 10- Sequoyah, Brainerd, Lipscomb, Stratford, Whites Creek, Southside, and Sheffield.

Remember when looking at standings that Kingsbury at 2-7 will get in the playoffs as a district runner up due to Trezevant's ban from postseason play.

This week I put Livingston in Quad 1 per the TSSAA, with Macon Co. getting in this will leave a tough decision for them. Do they put them in Quad 2 with Chattanooga teams or do they send them out West? I put both scenarios in the bracket.

Here is what it looks like.

Quad 1

1 Greeneville (8-1)

8 Stone Memorial (4-5)

4 Livingston Academy (7-2)

5 Carter (6-4)

3 Fulton (5-4)

6 Gibbs (5-4)

2 Sullivan East (7-2)

7 Scott Co. (5-4)

Quad 2

1 East Hamilton (5-4)

8 East Ridge (5-4)/Macon Co. (4-5)

4 Marshall Co. (6-3)

5 Giles Co. (6-3)

3 Red Bank (7-2)

6 Notre Dame (5-4)

2 Dekalb Co. (8-1)

7 Page (5-4)/East Ridge (5-4)

Quad 3

1 Lexington (9-0)

8 Macon Co. (4-5)/Page (5-4)

4 White House (5-4)

5 Chester Co. (7-2)

3 Liberty Magnet (6-3)

6 Sycamore (6-3)

2 Maplewood (6-3)

7 Creekwood (5-4)

Quad 4

1 Mitchell (6-3)

8 Hillcrest (5-4)

4 Kingsbury (2-7)

5 Covington (7-2)

3 Fairley (7-2)

6 Dyersburg (7-2)

2 Obion Co. (8-1)

7 Bolivar (6-3)

Are there any scenarios that would move Maplewood to quad 2?
