I realize you coached him RTB but not sure he should get a job he threw people under the buss for. Maybe he learned his lesson but it may be some rough sledding finding assistants who know of him...that said, good luck to all metro schools except 1 week a year.

I think he has and I think he can do a good job. We all learn from our past experiences.

Not the first time I have disagreed.I remember having a discussion about how to block an off-tackle run play. This young coach had an opinion about how it should be blocked.I remember how strong he felt about his opinion. I also remember how it turned out pretty well.

Difference much between X's and O's and character. Bet,I do, this young coach,of who you speak, never dis-loyal to you, was he. What goes around, return it does.

So this new coach at Cane Ridge all by himself got Abner fired,let go,or asked to resign.So Abner's dismissal is solely because of the new coach.Abner had nothing to do with the change. I really find that hard to believe.

Seems like Hillsboro wants to take their time for some odd reason. Drawing things out way too long if you ask me. Anyone have a time-table?

Columbia is another program taking their time in order to make the best decision. Background checks seem to be more and more extensive these days thus taking more time than in the past. I'm hearing positive things coming for both programs. Spring ball is still a few months away so there is no real need to hurry imo.

I think they are close. Background checks,teaching license,and certification takes time. Probably should be done first and not after job is offered.

Maybe next time they need to make that a prerequisite(sp) for applying. Do all of those things at the onset of the process, as opposed to the end. Just makes more sense to me.
