tandem
Its a shame that 1 of 2 of the biggest teams in 5A, Gallatin or Hendersonville will be put out in the second round, when a mediocre team like Beech or SCHS will have a place in the quarterfinals. Not exactly sure how a 6-4 team can be one of the best in 5A...
GWAVE1
Glencliff will be the largest team that Gallatin has faced on the line with 3 kids over 300 lbs. Special teams for the Colts also see a punt and kickoff returned for a td. Gallatin needs to be prepared for the size advantage of the Colts. Glencliff has never beaten Gallatin on the field. TheRealTruth
Great information GWAVE1. Glencliff's Nose Guard is 6"3" 292lbs going against our 5"7" 160lb center. Line play will be interesting to see.
tnhsfbfan85
Glencliff DOES NOT run a wing t!! They have not run the wing t since the 2002 season. They will have a base set of 2 split backs, a TE and a WR on either side. #2 Adarius Burton is the most dangerous playmaker on the team. He is the one who has ran they kick and punt back for TD. He is a WR though and Glencliff struggles to get him the ball on a reg basis. Glencliff's size on the line will not be a major factor because the big guys are weak. Gallatin should win without too much trouble.

I do know there is only about 45-50 on the team and about 8 are freshman. Not much depth. Edited November 2, 2011 by TheRealTruth
GWAVE1
I admit I thought they ran the wing-t as well. Thought for sure they did back when we played in the same region. But then again, that game was usually early in the year and I was more interested in getting Wave players names down.
TheRealTruth
It sounds like a base set with 2 split backs is the only formation Glencliff has on offensive. Glencliff defense has only given up more than 2 touchdowns in a game one time this season.

TheRealTruth
My money is on our 5'7" 160 lb center. Well, he can squat 400+ and bench nearly 300. I would agree.
Gtowner
I suppose there will be no reason for Gallatin to take up parking money on the vistors side of the stadium this week...they would only make $8.00 Green and Gold in both stands this week guys! GWAVE1
Glencliff brings their defense that has not allowed more than 3 tds in any game this year with their blitzing linebackers and corners to the home of the Green Wave. Like Gtowner said, there will be few and far between fans pulling for the Colts at the game tomorrow night. Both sides will be Green and Gold....love the playoffs!!!!! TheRealTruth
Game Day! Good luck to the Wave and pray that no one on either team is injured.
