Sounds like #9 Rice is back at linebacker and #2 Burnley 6"3" 225lb DE will play. #17 Smith has another week of practice to improve and should solidify more game time.

Only one common opponent: Lebanon. Glencliff won 28-7; Gallatin won 41-0

Gallatin has seen better Wing-Ts than Glencliff and should be getting prepared for a long run.

Glencliff is avg 18 points on offense while giving up an avg of 11 pts on defense.

They are averaging about 60 yards through the air a game and have several backs who get carries in the wing-t offense. Stats are incomplete but it appears Hill and Brown get the most carries and both have several 100+ games.

Worst defeat was by McGavock 25-0 and their best offensive output was last weeks 34-0 win over Hunters Lane

A little off topic, but does seeding determine where the semi-final will be played or does it just alternate from year to year?

Yes, it does. The higher seed will always be the host team of course. If the two teams are the same seed, then the team in the upper quad gets home field in odd numbered years and the team in the lower gets home field in even numbered years. This year our quad and quad 1 would have home field if the two teams were the same seed.

That is a little frustrating in that I believe Gallatin is a better team than Antioch, however, you must win 5 games in a row to be champion. No matter the circumstances, a team must prove it on the field, any field.

That really stinks for Gallatin who clearly should be a 1 seed. Although they have gone to Henry Co and broken the Patriot's hearts before. .

Its a shame that 1 of 2 of the biggest teams in 5A, Gallatin or Hendersonville will be put out in the second round, when a mediocre team like Beech or SCHS will have a place in the quarterfinals.

What do you mean by biggest teams in 5A? Gallatin has about 70 kids on the team. If you are talking overall school, SCHS is the largest and should be the first 6A in Sumner County unless lines are redrawn. Gallatin is #3 overall population and within 50 students of Beech and thats just in the county, not all of 5A. Please expand on your vast knowledge. It would be a shame if you did not share.
