milo118
You are still talking about class after what Smyrnas coaching staff did after the game? That throws everything you said out of the window. 2 of the members of your staff were escorted by police off the field after putting their hands on a referee and sheriff. So what you are telling me is that it's ok to show your players that if u feel u have been wronged to act like a complete fool,??? Game over. You lost. They are not part of the coaching staff. Doesn't make it right and doesn't excuse the ones involved from what was done (both the fans and referee). But just because they were wearing the Purple and Gold doesn't mean they part of the staff. I know who they are and don't want the coaching staff to get blamed for something they didn't do. In hindsight, Coach Williams probably should have refused to put his team on the field for the second overtime until they got someone from the TSSAA on the phone to explain the rules to the officiating crew.... That is exactly what Coach Williams should have done...cell phones are everywhere these days.
milo118
Was it anyone I know? You might know them. Hindsight is 20/20. What makes you think think you can get the referee to call in to the T$$AA when they wouldn't listen to you in the first place? I have a hard time believing that out all of those officials that one couldn't get it correct. That to me is the big issue. The article in the DNJ made it sound as if the T$$AA was use to this behaviorand it felt as if it was not a big deal. Let it happen to your team and see how big of a deal it is. But I stand behind my earlier post and feel that we had multiple opportunites to win that game in regulation. Maybe the coaching staff can use this as an example and motivate some players next year. We are going to need all of the help we can get. Edited November 10, 2011 by milo118

THEBulldog81
Does anyone know if the crew from memphis that so kindly admitted they may have made a mistake in the FHS/SHS overtime were allowed to work week 2 ? Bet the overtime rules were covered if they did. Edited November 15, 2011 by THEBulldog81
