ha, actually, if i'm a player on a team that is the defending state champions and going for a repeat, i'm probably not going to worry or bother with some kids from a county school in 3A football.. I do know that someone asked Mr. Collins to join in on that post though. So that would be why he was involved on it. Either way, it was after the CD vs Greeneville game, so the 2 events are not really related if you ask me.

You're probably closer to the "hill" than I am lol

Well if you rly are a player and not some idiot pretending to be to make greeneville look bad then get off here. Ballard wld jump all over you if your who you say. I personally believe its a imposter. Maybe Dalton Boles Uncle perhaps? lol im only kidding. But GL to CD. It'll be a battle :thumb:

For the record, I am not a player on either of these teams, in fact I'm not even a player at all. I am simply a resident of the county with knowledge of what goes on in the county lol. I'm not an "imposter" either. If i remember correctly, Greeneville has their own thread about their first round game, I'd probably try putting my input in on that one and not this one.

Thanks for the good luck wishing. CD will need it.

OMG!!! Lou Holtz never said he was a Greeneville player! LOL!!! He was referring to the fact that a player on GHS probably shouldn't be worried about a smaller 3A school like CD that has basically no chance against a team like GHS!

Yes, I got that part, but my question still remains unanswered...why pick on a 17 year old kid from CDHS that isn't even the one that "hearsay" said posted the Facebook stuff to begin with??? Anyway, let's move on...never argue with a fool...

Congratulations to Julius Montgomery for being the Channel 11 Player of the Week! He deserved it after Friday night's game against SGHS! Way to go Julius and way to go Black Knights!!!

Juice has been the engine that has driven CD for a couple of years now. Good to see him get the recognition he deserves. (sure would have liked to see him in green :thumb: )

I had seen this game mentioned in another thread and they said CD would be too much for the tigers. Haven't seen CD play but I have the tigers they dominated Grainger 41-14, CD won 20-14 in a close one. This won't be as good a draw for CD as they think.

Well back to the beginning only common game Grainger. 80 percent chance of rain thurday night an fri morning. Wet field for sure. On dry field I would take the tigers by 21, wet field 14. PF wins 21-7. :popcorneater:

I suppose we will see when the final buzzer sounds on Friday night. I personally think the knights can possibly pull the #5 over #4 upset if they are able to fight off the turnover bug that has seemed to follow them all year long. Should be a good game, and I'll be in attendance to watch it all go down.

Cold soaking rain falling in Pigeon Forge, 2 good running games will tear that field up. Well the Juice will get a chance to help CD win a 1st round game, something they haven't done since 1992. PF is 0-4 in playoffs a win fri. night will be big for both schools. Turnovers will decide the fate of a lot of teams tomorrow night with it raining all over the state.

    • It was not ACHS at all, they have zero reason to worry about Clinton.  It had to do with a kid (non football player)  that had a charge and appeared in front of the juvenile judge.  The judge saw that the kid was way behind credit wise for his grade and told him to reappear in a month with a plan to graduate.  When the kid reappeared he had more that twice the credits than one month before.  The judge called BS and contacted the school.  That is what started the investigation.  This involves multiple students, but to this point no athletes are involved.
    • I believe the Covington Chargers travel to Trenton Peabody for a scrimmage today? Anyone going to this? Curious how the Chargers will do.
    • Good ole Bradley Zulliger. He was a really good QB @ OR. Fun to watch.  Wore #15 and was like a mini Tebow, with the exception of being right handed. He could take a pounding and keep on ticking. Played with a collapsed lung against Powell that year. Tough as nails.
    • They should be pretty good in year two for Rang.  Replacing most of the offensive production losing Dozier, Hayward and Rembert , but they're are skill kids in place ready for their shot.  I know I say this every year, but the o line should show improvement after two years in Rang and Kevin Day's weight program.  I still would favor West over Plow and OR come November.  The Rebs will have to grow up a bunch between now and then, and will probably take some lumps along the way with that schedule.  But I predict come playoff time they will be ready.   One of their coaches half joked to me that they could go 5-5 regular season and win the state championship.  Ha ha.
