milo118
I would rather Riverdale play a team that is more competitive than CC. Its almost like having a bye in the first round. Enjoy it. Look at like this. You will not have to use up your players in the first round. You will be rested for the secomd round. No disrespect to Coffee Co in talking like this but they shouldn't even be in the game by the half if Riverdale comes out and plays solid football. I remember one year when some folks felt that way when we played Jefferson County. We had spanked them at their place earlier in the year. You could hear a pin drop at MTSU the night they beat us to go on to the finals. And I remember a Dickson County team coming to Murfreesboro and schocking us at Middle one year. No win is a given. Ask Arkansas about their little visit to Vanderbilt last week.

My point is Riverdale is a much better team technicaly. Sound fundamentals will beat a 3-7 team any day of the week. Riverdale still has to show up and play solid football. I do believe i used the word solid in an earlier post. My opnion is if they show and play solid football then they should be ahead by enough to rest starters early and save them for round two. But again they can't mail this one in and must continue to play solid fundamental football to win. As far as the losses to Dickson Co and Jefferson Co, they where better teams than 3-7 i do believe. Crimson100
First Round of the playoffs. Coach Davis comes to visit the campus he had success at as a Freshman Coach. Welcome back Coach Davis. Now lets WIN RIVERDALE! Do you guys want him back because Freshman coach is all he is.... you are going to see the worst coaching staff in the State of Tenn/////It will be a bad night for CC
TDCman
It's the playoffs. I'm sure CC will bring their best game. They got some big boys and I remember some pretty good scrimmages with them. Here's a link to their web site...they have some video highlights up there as well. IllegalTouching
Word in M-town is that there is a new transfer to CCHS that just got his paperwork in and approved. I hear he's 6'4", 250 lbs and will be starting at LB and FB for the Raiders. . .

Lost Old Dad
Haha that team needs more then 1 star player, they need a better coach too .. He still can't handle Riverdale! Actually their Coach is quite good. There are CC folks with an agenda to get the one 'they' wanted as Coach Davis has only been there 9 months tops. I have known him 9 YEARS now and know that he is both a good Coach and a VERY good man. 'Some' would not be happy if he was a cross between Vince Lombardi and Bear Bryant!
