Grundy at Meigs

Meigs put up 42 points against Bledsoe in the first half. Their offense looked really good. They are the best 2A school I have saw this year. Their "D" was scrappy too. Caused a couple of turnovers and had some "pick up your mouth piece" type hits. I haven't seen Grundy play but they better come to play because Meigs looked like they were on a mission.

So why are they 4-3?

 

That's not trying to be smart but the teams they've lost to aren't world beaters by any means this year. And two of the teams they've beaten are terrible.

 

So which is the real Meigs County team?

Should be a couple td win for Grundy. Probably 28- 14 or 35-21. Meigs Co plays good offense but are very average on Defense. Grundy will have to stay disciplined on D because of the Meigs Co. trick plays but I don't think that Meigs can slow down the yellowjacket's veer attack. Earlier in the Year Marion ripped up alot of yardage on Meigs so I see Grungy also having success doing the same. Could be interesting if Grundy has a couple of Turnovers otherwise they win.

It will all come down to defense. Meigs County couldn't tackle a flag pole. Grundy isn't much better on the "D" side of the ball. Grundy wins a region "worst region in TN" game 38-14.

Grundy's D is bad. Not from what I've seen.

 

And this isn't a region game. Meigs is 2A, Grundy is 3A.

Hey idunk2..... if you really think that Meigs County is the best team in class 2A you havent gotten around to many,if any, other games than theirs. They are not a good team and definitely not the best team in 2A. Grundy is a pretty good team and should handle them pretty well. Look for Grundy by at least 2 td's.

I have played against both teams this year. I think grundy will win big over meigs

Meigs is not even in the top four in their region...Grundy will win...BIG....the dog howls....

Just to let you know - Meigs is currently 4th in the region with a 2-2 region record. We're the real Tigers this year, we get stronger with age and we sneak up on you.
