Awww, come on Joe, don't be telling folks tall tales like this. You know we are tiny and slow and don't have a clue how to play football. Its only been luck that has gotten us this far. We are not good, have no speed, can't stop the run, have no clue how to defend an air attack. Our only postive yardage on the offense came this season when the entire other team got so deep into our backfield the only place left to go was up-field.

I think I saw that play on film. Didn't a 5'5" 320lb defensive lineman run your running back down from behind at the 5 yard line? :roflol:

Did you see that too? That bowling ball could scoot! Centennial has no team speed what so ever. Receivers have awful hands, but qb can only throw it about 3 yards anyway. One time our RB fell forward at the line and picked up a yard for the longest carry of the seaon. We were very excited. They talked about that play for weeks.

Easy Lou Holtz!

I am normally confident as I did predict the shutout last week, but I've seen these LC boys. It may be a long night.

Well, you know, I'm a sportswriter. Ask anybody...like coaches, we don't have a clue! :roflol:

I believe Troy Fleming's little brother is the RB for Centennial. Talked to Troy this week & he said he would be attending. I told him I'd have to pull for East TN & LC this time, but I'm sure it will be a good game. Anybody from LC know what happened to Travis Cozart?? He was a great HS running back who should have done big things at UT... :/

From what I understand drugs happened to him. I think he was actually arrested recently for breaking into someones car. Pretty sad.

It hasn't been luck. It's been a weak schedule. CHS has played three quality opponents in Franklin, Brentwood, and Independence.

CHS beat Antioch who only beat up on other Nashville schools and lost to an 8 seed in the first round.

CHS beat Wilson Central who won 2 games.

CHS beat Cane Ridge who went 1-9.

CHS beat Ravenwood who only had wins over Cane Ridge and Hillsboro.

CHS beat Shelbyville who obviously playe in a weak division and without their best player.

CHS beat Hillsboro who won 3 games.

CHS beat Tullahoma who was missing one of their studs and needed six turnovers to do it.

I give credit for winning the games you should but does it prepare you for the long term?

This year may be fool's gold but Eubanks's D is for real.

Go Cougars!

How does CHS fair against a true quality opponent?

Someone post updates when you can please.

    • Hope the catcher on baseball team come back out and play's football . He didn't play last year if I remember but I don't remember much after that wreck anyways.. But he did play his freshman and soph years and I thought was a very good player. He's put on some size now, so I'm hoping he's thinking about playing again..
    • Pirates are young this year.  Gordy can sleep on them.
    • They’ll get it worked out eventually.Farragut is too good of a program to be down for long. As an OR fan, I can’t really say I’m too distraught about it though.
    • I didn’t even see that until you said something, but I don’t think it’s that bad. Yes, the coaches can’t get along with each other. But I don’t think they’re openly taking shots at each other right in front of the parents. If they are, that’s pitiful though, that’s really pitiful. I sure hope they’re not, but yeah, I’ve heard the same thing from players over at Farragut getting fed up, and I feel as though what the coaching staff has been trying to keep under the prying eyes of the parents is now out on full display.
    • and there is definitely a reason for that—more than just Catholic recruiting.
