Boy I sure wish our mighty Trojans still had a chance. As it is I am enjoying the coments on the big two 6a games in our area. I will bless you all with my picks and reasons later,LOL. I have seen 3 of these 4 in person and the other on film. I plan to give a breakdown on the schedules played as well as strategy.

Senator thought Genesy could not punish whitestation?

Ok first part of my breakdown on the big four is schedule strength. I have looked at a couple rating systems but I think Sonny Moores is the most accurate. These 4 teams stand like this.

1. Whitestation over 120 points

2.Arlington over 115 points

3. Whitehaven 110 points

4 Brighton 106 points

Here is how I rate their schedule strength:

1. White Station no doubt the toughest

2. Arlington easy number two

3.Brighton played tough teams toward middle to end of season.

4. Whitehaven Only two good teams they played were White Station and Ridgeway and this was at start of season. Both of these teams were playing poorly at that time. Do not give me the Illinois team argument, they barely made playoffs.

More to follow.

There you have it. Your turn!

I'll give a little analysis :popcorneater:

1) Arlington (9-2) @ Whitehaven (11-0)

Will the Real Black and Gold Clad Tigers Please stand up!!! Arlington, with their potent passing attack led by QB Drew Reed, will give Whitehaven one of their toughest games all season because of their Style of play BUT Whitehaven has only GIVEN UP 65 points all season. Watch out for #5 Darrius 'Voodoo' Simms and the rest of the Whitehaven Secondary Arlington! Those guys are the truth walking...

RESPECT DA HAVEN

2) White Station (7-4) @ Brighton (10-1)

This will be a great match up. Coach Devin Rutherford just knows how to get his kids ready to WIN. If Brighton doesn't stay on scheduled offensively and gets in 3rd and long situations it could be a long night for them...

White Station 28 - Brighton 24

3) Dyer County (9-2) @ Ridgeway (8-3)

Ridgeway is on a mission. Operation: Cookeville...

Dyer Co. 14 - Ridgeway 34

4) Chester Co. (9-2) @ Mitchell (8-3)

As I said last week, Memphis Speed kills...

Chester Co. 17 - Mitchell 35

5) BTW (8-3) @ Westwood (6-4)

BTW and Westwood should come down to the wire, last team with the ball wins...

BTW 27 - Westwood 30

6) SBEC (9-2) @ Knox. Webb (8-2)

Knox Webb wins big

7) ECS (8-3) @ USJ (9-1)

USJ wins by two scores

8) Davidson Academy (4-7) @ Harding Acadamy (8-2)

Harding Academy wins big

9) St. George's (8-3) @ DCA (8-2)

St. George's wins close

10) McCallie (5-5) @ MUS (7-3)

MUS wins by 10

11) Brentwood Academy (9-2) @ CBHS (8-2)

Brentwood Academy wins by 3

To all the Arlington Tigers and their "fans" (dou, millington2007, etc.) and all the others who are claiming that Whitehaven haven't played anyone this season and they are going to get tested beyond measure don't be surprised if/when it gets ugly :o

Wow! Almost everybody is picking CBHS over BA? As much as I would like to see this happen, it won't. BA ended in a 3-way TIE for 1st place in the Middle/East IIAA division with a 6-1 record. Their 2 losses are to National #1 Louisville Trinity and to TN #1 Ensworth. For the Bros to beat them would be an upset of major proportions.

Lot of you think Whitestation is going forward. They barely beat Millington. Brighten handed them there only loss of the regular season. Although the game started out close Brighten clearly walked all over Millington. It will be a close game but in the end I think Brighton has a very good chance of moving on to the 3rd round.
