@likearock I agree with all of your key points to win for MC or GC. I think we are similar teams, but Marshall has a little more heck raiser in them. I am so tired of hearing about the refs,scoreboard

Patton at The Tennesseean picked Giles (of course), and Giles sends dead flowers to MCHS proclaiming their inevitable victory........things are looking good for the Tigers.

After seeing both teams play, I'm really surprised GC didn't win the first time. MC seems to have a really good running back and one big lineman but overall GC looked to have 5 or 6 top caliber players. How many did GC have out during that earlier game....? I know they have had mention of several injuries this year. Regardless a 12AA team wins and moves on and with Fairview still playing thats awesome for the district.

Going to be a close ball game .Look for a low scoreing game on this one. Mc keeps it on the ground and pound. Giles keeps it mixed thru the air. Cant call this one. Can be either way. The fewest mind blackouts and temper flair ups wins this one. Coaches sometime find themselves slowly getting out of their game plans. Stay on track. Either way District 12 getting promoted by 2 great teams. From Fairview

Hey Brokeback, you claim to be a Columbia Lions fan. Why is it that you get on all of the Marshall Co threads and wear them out, but you can not be found to post on Columbia threads? Big games, Columbia vs Baylor, Columbia vs Lenoir City, and not one post. But get on Marshall Co threads and you are all over them?

      Not sure what you mean? 40 TOTAL? Macon is a good team no doubt, but I believe they've only scored 35 total points against Uppeeman the last two years, and that's over three games.

      This scenario resonates with the dynamics observed in my hometown of Hartsville. The undue influence of politics on high school sports remains a pervasive issue, detracting from the integrity of athletic programs.  The proliferation of individuals driven by a thirst for power inevitably precipitates the downfall of any program.       From what we are hearing on the reservation we will be lucky to beat sunbright. And trust me I am not throwing stones at them because they play their hearts out. It’s a tuff game every year, just like Oakdale but when you have small numbers that’s what you get. And then you add in that you loose two top linemen and the starting qb!!!! Along with a running back!  We are in deep trouble.
