Summit swept East Hickman 19-8 and 16-6 last night.

Sloppy first couple of innings for Page defensively, but settled down and got it done.

Fairview played well in the field both games, may jump up and bite somebody if Lefty that started game 2 gets healthy.

 

May need to start calling you Nostradomus as last night Fairview beat Marshall Co. 8-7 with a last inning 2 out rally.

 

Anyone have current standings for the district? There were not a lot of scores in the Tennessean this morning.

Does anyone know the score of the Marshall County vs. Fairview game yesterday?

 

The bad loss Hickman had versus Giles County on 04/10 seem to have dampened the spirits and affected the boys play against a mediocre pitcher for Giles County yesterday. The team's bats didn't come around until the 4th inning and by then it was too late with Giles already having 7 runs on the board. They even had the tying run at the plate with 2 outs in the top of the 7th. Hickman had a really good chance to come away with two wins over Giles this week and move up in the standings, but I guess it just wasn't meant to be. Keep your head up Bulldogs! We still believe in you!
