We doing fairly well so far with just one key runner. Wait until the other runners get unleashed, (we have four other healthy runners too, ha, not just the one, which a taste of them has been seen a little bit, others have also scored TD's, not just #34), and when we get our passing game in place with the four good wide receivers we have as soon as our QB gets back, (and the runner/receiver we have who also injured, he will be back before year is out!), plus the running backs also double as receivers, (making a total of 8 or 9 potential receivers a team must prepare for), wow, talk about lots of weapons and threats. What the non-Dresden folk do not know is just how many other weapons we do have, an arsenal that we are just sitting on, not even unleashed or revealed yet. Not fan talk, just facts. We have depth we not had before, so we sub and stay fresh and not need the same ones always out on field, and the guys are being cross-trained to play more than one position, so yes, there should be great things to be seen this year for Dresden with all the ammo we have, with others stepping in if another gets injured, and the brilliant coaches we have who know how to use what we have, when to play whom where, and what plays to call for a given situation. And with the awesome big guys we have in the trenches, who also have depth, and its the big boys who make it all happen for the runners and passers etc., this is indeed a TEAM effort, and everyone knows that. And all of the players are celebrating anyone's accomplishments, cause they all know the team had a part in it all. Even the scout team and JV guys, who help the starters practice hard and get better, THEY playing a role in Lion success too, which should continue this year. Time will tell. Go Lions, #1 All the Way!
