How in the world did this team get beat by Santa Fe? Boy they must REALLY be missing Bubba Clifton...

And Nehlan Franks, and the entire senior class from last season.....they once beat Lawrence County by 23 and two weeks later lost to them--LCHS is loaded with freshmen...in between those games they beat PC (at Stown) and lost to WC (at WCHS)....when they play disciplined defensive ball, they are pretty good, but I dont see them winning a shootout

They got beat by more than the score indicated as well, garbage points at the end to make it close. Either way these are both great teams. Summertown and SF havent played in the regular season in a while and quite frankly most of the 12A teams are overlooking teams this year. SF is a good team and I am dissapointed that you would scoff at this win and dismiss it to loss of talent.

They got beat by more than the score indicated as well, garbage points at the end to make it close. Either way these are both great teams. Summertown and SF havent played in the regular season in a while and quite frankly most of the 12A teams are overlooking teams this year. Wayne County isn't overlooking anybody right now. They can't beat their own JV team.

They are a 3 guard team with horrible discipline. They refuse to rebound and refuse to use the big men. They have a 6'8" and a 6'6". How many teams in the state singleA do you see with that size? Much less a team supposedly has the best coaching in the district. I would venture to say that that summertown basketball team is getting out scored on second chance points 10-1. Tonight against Forrest they went 3 minutes without getting the ball up the floor. Forrest pressed and won because of summertowns inability to control the tempo of the game. What baffles me is how this team goes from 7-0 to probably the 3rd worst team in the district. ????

6'8 and 6'6..wow...maybe standing on someone's foot or maybe in a program ..but neither 1 of those kids is even 6'6...still big for class A but not 6'8..

Still hard to accept losing 6 out of 7 after a 7-0 start....this team has wins over PC, MP, and Spring Hill, all teams that will be in the top 10 polls when they are released........Spring Hills answer to losing at Summertown was beating them by 51 last week.....that makes 2 (count them 2) 50 point losses in less than a calender year...says something about discipline to me....

      Richland plays at McKenzie on Wed.  Should be a good series.  Does Richland have good pitching?

      Congratulations to the Warrior baseball team winning the Region Championship.  Last night the football team beat Franklin Co 33-0 in their spring scrimmage. Warriors looked very good. Missing a few players who were playing baseball but still absolutely dominated. A lot of young ones got in halfway through the 3rd when the score reached 33-0. QB Tilton Pickett looked very sharp.  Sam Pickett is on another level this season. Seems to have put on 15 to 20 lbs in the off season and added a step as well. Transfer from last year Williamson caught numerous balls and is very elusive. Lots of athletes on this team. Defense was smothering and will only get better. The head coach from Sewanee was in attendance and offered 2 kids after the game. Could be a special year.
