i have two questions. 1) in the past 15 or so years who has won more game Rockwood or harriman?? it has just left my mind well bout the last 3 years is all i know bout. but could u help me with that?? or has far back as u can remember, PLEASE!!!!! 2) just a question. why r u not a plus member??? i'm just askin!!! no need to reply, but i was wonderin b/c i was goin to send u a message but i couldn't. so i thought i would ask u bout it. u seem to like the web site and all!!i love this web site and u have alot more post then me. so that is all about that!!

I don't know about the past 15 years, but according to Earl Nall's "Prep Ratings" Rockwood is 3-6 against Harriman over the last 9 years. They've won the last 2 contests, however. I look for the Tigers to make it 3 in a row and 4-6 over the past 10 years this Friday......

Rockwood was undefeated in 1992 regular season, and only lost to Kingston (in district 7AA) in 1991. That gets us back to 1991, anyway.

WVLT (I believe) did a piece on this series Mon. night on the 11:00 news and said Rockwood led the series by 3 or somewhere close to that. They interviewed Pat Sheets and Maurice Greif, so both of those guys should know.

A Knoxville station does a piece on this game each year because it is the oldest high school football series in the state of Tennessee.

 

Maurice has all the game scores and stats I think recorded and I believe one poster was very accurate, the margin is under 5 games for Rockwood, I think.

I'm getting a copy from Maurice in the morning beginning with Rockwood's 79-0 victory in 1921.

So that would make Rockwood 5-6 against Harriman over the last 11 years.
