P&G read it yesterday and it was a great article. Also thanks for throwing in the props for former Lake County Great Jerry Reese. QB on the 1980 State Champion Team and only undefeated team in Lake Co. History 14-0. Now as GM of the New York Giants they have reached the Super Bowl twice. Also still a very active supporter of his HS. Good luck and Go G-men.

While we are on the subject look how close Patrick Willis was to the super bowl, its great to see players from these small schools being in the NFL and doing so good. It shows all these young players that with hard work your dreams can come true.

Good point last year it was martin natives Chad Clifton and Justin Harrel winning it all last year.

      And that needs to go, Charter ,private ,magnet,city and any school that operates differently than pure public schools should be separated. What really needs to be done is address urban and rural. About all the usual powers have access to several kids from other schools period.

      Slightly off topic from a gender standpoint but just observed several boys volleyball games in the Knoxville area for a short spring season. The guys seemed to have a great time. There were several club players on each team but several football, basketball and tennis players involved. Knoxville Catholic, Maryville, Heritage, Knoxville West maybe William Blount had teams. Thanks to Coach Brent Carter from Knoxville Catholic/K2 for getting it together. I’m sure the coaches involved got several laughs trying to coach guys that really had no idea what they were talking about but pretty athletic and competitive. Catholic’s best basketball player told the coach he had played a lot of 2:3 and 1:3:1 but never a 3:3 LOL Maybe it will catch on with some more schools next year.
