WVLT Volunteer TV 8 had CAK defeating homestanding AC 1-0 in a double OT game. My hat's off to CAK for giving their coach a great going away gift--a berth in the sub-state. I believe I read in the Sentinel where he is leaving to go on a 3yr mission trip overseas.

The Oak Ridge Lady Wildcats (17-5-3) defeated #2 ranked Farragut 2-0 to capture the Region 2 championship. The Lady Admirals finish the year 20-4. Casey Aloi and Danielle Moore found the net for the Lady Wildcats.

Just found out the Lady Hilltoppers of Science Hill captured the Region 1-AAA title last night by beating Greeneville 4-0. Science Hill will travel to Oak Ridge for their next match-up. I think the Lady Hilltoppers are now 16-3.
