HappyHour22
Just saying what I heard. Norris did one heck of a job with his teams at South Doyle and did that job with not very much talent. Ok just asking. I do not remember them winning more than 5 games but maybe they did.

He took them to the Region Semi-Finals his first or second year. I remember watching them beat Halls in the Region first Round. I have no idea of the record but it was probably pretty good to get that far.
dogs22
I guess nobody knows if they have any talented girls coming back from last years team, and if so, are they upper or under classmen?
knoxbball88
I guess nobody knows if they have any talented girls coming back from last years team, and if so, are they upper or under classmen? They have a few good kids, couple of solid guards and a very big post who is a blocking machine. Their District is really really weak which makes it easier to compete. HOOPSGURU
Brent Walker?
dogs22
Brent Played at Powell in the mid 80's, coached the Hiwassee girls, and then coached somewhere in Florida. Heard all this info second hand, so I'm just passing it along.

knoxbball88
Sorry, its Bart. Just heard that a basketball coach in West Knoxville is being offered an administrator position to leave their current job and go to Powell. It's a high profile school. It's a high profile school. Could you be a little more specific? You've got fairly new/inexperienced coaches at Bearden and Farragut. Don't see any of the private school coaches leaving. dogs22
Its got to be the one from Catholic. I heard Powell is also losing their AD.

Don't see any of the private school coaches leaving. I don't know if i would call those coaches inexperienced. Farragut has been to two straight substates, wins 20+ games every year their coach has been there a few years and Bearden just won the district so those coaches seems like good candidates. I think high profile would eliminate Catholic....might be CAK..isn't their girls coach an AD as well?
