I think the same could be said about a lot of schools. Coaches lose their passion for the game and become complacent. Rather than admit it and move on, they stay put. It is a huge disservice to the players.

I don't think it is fair to say "coaches". I think a few lose their passion. Most lose the energy needed and retire or move on!

Agreed. I probably should have said "some coaches". I certainly didn't mean to insinuate that all coaches lose their passion.

Just heard middle school coach who went 45-0 and has won back to back sectionals over last two seasons has shown great interest in position and may have an interview....

Must be a middle school coach outside of Knoxville none of the middle schools teams or coaches have gone 45-0. Not even the private schools.

If this is true, its got to be Coach powers from Rockwood. A very good young coach, and also has had experience at high school, assisting. That would be a great hire for them.. Very good fundamentals guy and teaches game right way, also a very good teacher I think English or Math?

He is the one that Oakdale wouldn't even hire and he graduated from there.
