This could be interesting. Whoever gets this job better be able to step in right away and take this program to the next level bc all the west knox schools such as hardin valley , cak, catholic are get

From what I was told, he did not apply, Bearden came to him. Out of respect for his players, he did not want his name mentioned during playoffs. As a parent, I know he has a great relationship and go

Either Rice from Karns or Hochevar from Grace.

 

This could be interesting. Whoever gets this job better be able to step in right away and take this program to the next level bc all the west knox schools such as hardin valley , cak, catholic are getting better each yr. and then you got Farragut to always compete with. This better be a good hire otherwise you could se this program take a step back and loose some of the better players in the west knox area.

Ive heard a few names mentioned with regards to the Bearden opening. A few of the names are Sullivan (Catholic), Warner (Jefferson County), Head coach at campbell county, and taylor (Clinton. Not sure how it will turn out but it should be interesting. Alot of talent at Bearden right now..

I havent heard alot about the jeff co coach, but I know the other three guys you just mentioned are good coaches

I haven't heard much about the coach at Oneida. It seems kind of odd but there must be some type of former connection at play with that one. I think one of the things that is surprising is they posted the job right in the middle of the stretch run of the season. Alot of coaches probably shyed away rom applying due to the fact that they didnt want to cause a distraction to their current team and have their name in the hat for another job during the most important stretch of the season,

The guy from Oneida is the real deal man!! If Bearden can get him they will be getting one of the best up and coming coaches in the state! This guy will have them contending for state titles in no time!

WHO GETS THE HEAD COACHING JOB AT BEARDEN AFTER THIS SEASON?

 

I think Warner at Jeff County would be an excellent choice. He has transformed the perennial underachieving Patriots to a well coached team that wins the games they should and more. They lost 8 or more seniors from last years squad and are playing really well. He is in a great position at the moment. He coaches in a huge school competing against schools that they should beat. Does he want to come to knoxville?

 

Another coach I did not see mentioned was Browning from South Doyle. He is an exceptional coach who can sqeeze more blood from a turnip than most. He always gets everything he can from his squad. He has also shown what he can do if he has some talent. Good man as well as a coach.

There's been talk of the coach from FULTON, he apparently brings lots of energy and excitment to a team Edited by Vols1234
